Modjadji revealed as the South African Sport Awards Choreographer

Its fourth time lucky for Paul Modjadji. After four years of choreographing the spectacular Gauteng Sport Awards, this year Modjadji will have the opportunity to showcase his talent with the nation as the newly revealed choreographer of the South African Sport Awards 2017. 

Following his successful 10 Africa Tour visiting countries like Nigeria, Senegal, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania, Modjadji is back home, having just choreographed the 2017 Gauteng Sport Awards and served as one of the judges on the populare SABC 1 Dance show Break Da Beat. Speaking excitedly after being told of his recent appointment Modjdji said “ I am beyond honored to be entrusted with this exciting opportunity. As a dance athlete I have a deep appreciation for what it takes to be the best of your game, I  look forward to bringing sport and art together as we celebrate the absolute best in in sport from our country.  

Following The South African Sport Awards Modjadji will also be joining various celebrities such as 808 Presenter Bontle Modiselle, Ashes to Ashes Nyanyiso Dzedze and Wandile Molebatsi as part of the Hear Me Move Educational theatre tour. Visiting schools across Gauteng educating youth about violence and bullying in schools. The tour kickstarts on the 23rd of November and coincides with the 16 days of activism against the abuse of women and children. 

Two time world Dance Champion, Modjadji is a recipient of President Barack Obama’s Mandela Washington Young Leaders Award and a Global Young Leaders Award recipient. 

The South African Sport Awards are back in Gauteng after a three year run in Mangaung (Bloemfontein), and will be held at Emperors Palace on Sunday the 12th November 2017. The awards will be broadcasted live on SABC 1 at 8pm.
