on

Heart FM has partnered with Standard Bank to present the latest instalment of the Standard Bank Business Breakfast Series on Tuesday, 28 November at the Westin Hotel Grand Ballroom.

The aim of the event is to create a knowledge-gaining experience for attendees that will help them grow their businesses and personal brands by connecting them with speakers who are relatable.

The speaker line-up for the day includes Sandras Phiri, managing director and founder of the Africa Trust Academy and Suhana Gordhan, creative director at FCB and chairperson of the Loeries Awards. The two have knowledge and accolades in their respective field. The host of Heart Breakfast, Aden Thomas, will be on MC duties for the day.

Legendary Springbok Rugby captain Mornè Du Plessis will also be a speaker for the day. Du Plessis has helped lead the Springboks to victory as their manager during the 1995 World Cup campaign. He also co-founded the Sport Science Institute of South Africa with Tim Noakes.

Managing director for Heart FM Renee Redelinghuys says the partnership is a natural fit. “Our success has really been based on partnering with businesses who engage with communities, place a strong focus on customer experience, and embrace innovation, which is why this partnership with Standard Bank is a good fit.”

“As the biggest radio station in the Western Cape, we need to constantly stay ahead of the curve, asking ourselves ‘what is next’ to provide the best experience for our listeners in order for us to maintain our number one positioning,” Redelinghuys adds.

“The Standard Bank Business Breakfast Series is just one of the many ways we help South Africa’s entrepreneurs achieve their business ‘nexts’, along with innovative, efficient banking solutions and access to capital,” says Willie Chavalala, head: business banking Gauteng region, retail and business banking South Africa at Standard Bank.

“These events aim to motivate and inspire while offering small business owners the valuable opportunity to network with like-minded, ambitious individuals – an opportunity that could take their business to the next prosperous level,” concludes Chavalala.

Tickets for the event are priced at R250 and are available at Computicket.
